Although I don't like Owens as a true PG, I think that he can shoot pretty well and play some D. If we were to get Carter, then I wouldn't mind seeing Owens play a role of spot up shooter while VC, Junior, and Danger handled the ball while Feisty gets boards.
I'm definitely on the Get Carter side of the fence, although not far from the boundry, just b/c of the issues w/ Carter's health, character, and leadership qualities. No offense to JO, but I do think that Vince's play is bigger than his talk, basically vice versa to No. 7.
I just wanna move Tinsley for any expiring right now, just so we have enough money to extend Danny when the time comes.
In the meantime, I would like Shawne to get a stab at starting PF for us. I know he's very light, but his reach is ridiculous, and his skill set would work well in a PNR offense, much like the one PHX uses w/ Amare. I'd like to see both he and Ike get some time in offensive sets featuring that high PNR; it's so effective and simple to run, IDK why we don't use it w/ the likes of Diener or Junior even, as the trigger men. It would cut down on our TOs and simplify things for us.
Y is S. Williams not getting a lot of P-T?
