Dampier & Hassel for Wallace & griffin works in trade checker. KVH would be signed to whatever it takes for Smith.

Dampier > Wallace, espically at half the price.

Maggette would not fit this teams style. He is younger than 32.

Not half the price. Wallace's contract is declining every year. For next 2 seasons, the difference is only $5 million ($28.5 for Wallace & $23.7 for Damp). Dampier does have an un-guaranteed contract in 2010-11 which is $13 million. If Dallas picks that up, Damp will actually cost more than Ben

I will not dispute that Damp is better than Ben overall

Well Dallas really doesnt have anoption on Damp's contract, its just unguarenteed when he doesnt make the necc. requirements, and surely Dallas would release him, and if they wanted him back, resign him for 1/3 of that price.

Despite Wallace' contract not being that much worse than Dampiers, Dallas still would perfer Dampier over Wallace 9 times out of ten. I think Chicago is probably stuck with Wallace until he's an expiring contract, or close to it.

We probably dont have the contracts to offer a deal? They wouldnt want anything but expiring deals and we dont have many.

i was kinda hoping to pry kenyon martin away from denver... a kidd-k-mart reunion in dallas would be pretty sweet... not to mention k-mart could play backup center minutes...
