I'm not a Jose hater, I love having both PGs on our team equally and as such I say give him the same money TJ got.

I totally agree. Players are WAY overpaid in this league. As much as i love Bosh he shouldn't really be a max player either. In my mind there are probably only 6 or 7 players who deserve that kind of coin. Unless your team is willing to go over the gap all it does is hambstring your team.

A better argument would be that there should be no max so that Lebron or Kobe get even more now. If there is to be a max, it may not be that Bosh or anyone else at or near it are overpaid, but that the biggest stars are underpaid.

Frankly, I'd give LeBron $20 million to play here. Wouldn't you?

To hell with the All Star game. Jose's on a plane to the Bahamas for a well deserved r & r.

obviously i would pay Lebron top money, but there has to be a max. In terms of professional sports i think the NBA has the best all-around system that allows all teams to have a chance at being competative. without a max you would see the ridiculous contracts like A-rods in baseball.

I like the NFL's system how contract are not guaranteed and you and your contract can get terminated at any time.

I agree it's how you mange your cap bosh got the max for 3 years with an option for 4 look at the fools in the nhl giving 10 year deals or teams like the leafs with 5 guy's with no trade contracts.

lmfao, SO THIS IS WHY HE DID IT? George vetoed the trade not because he didn't want to go to a **** team, but because he wanted to keep Jose out of the All-Star Game...

I wouldn't have minded signing Bosh to a 15 year deal. . .

If they do end up getting this deal done and Jose makes the team... don't you guys think it'd be freaking awesome to watch?

I was at the game last night and Calderon put on the best show I've ever seen in person. The man was money and throwing the craziest alley-oop passes all night. Throw him in a game with Eastern all-stars and I bet a lot of people take notice.

To me this whining about Jose being an All Star is getting annoying from all angles. It seems everyday I have to hear Raptor fans says, "aww, Jose should be an all-star! Why isn't he an all-star!" Then right back I have to hear other fans rip Jose and Raptor fans for this, its just all around annoying.

He isn't an all-star this year, get over it, we all still know how good he is, him being an all-star doesn't make our team record any better, it's an exhibition game and if anything will make him harder to keep in the off-season.

that's some pure selfish horsesh*t. Whether he deserves to be there or not I don't know. But if he does, you better damn well support him going there whether it's a contract year or not.

2 Raptors in the All Star Game is better than one. Even then I doubt he really cares whether he makes it or not. But for fans to talk some real ignorant **** like you're putting forth? Are you even a fan? :banghead:

To me zero raptors is better then two raptors. Zero NBA all-star is better then 24 NBA All-Star.

I piss on the all-star game.

So why bother posting on a thread about the All-Star Game? It's not like anyone cares for your negative feedback. Stop with the post padding.

2. Keeping him out of the game is Devean George's no-trade clause.
3.NBA champs Miami will have the worst record in the league
4.Worst team Boston will have the best record in the league
