I play him sometimes. Depends on the matchup. How bout u guys. Doesent Dwight seem a little overated in that game? He is unstopable. or maybe its just unlike the real magic I feed him the ball. :)

When I play I try to keep my Association as close to realistic as possible. I typically run with the normal starting five of

Nelson
Evans
Hedo
Lewis
Howard

After that Dooling is my main guard off the bench with Bogan backing up Hedo and a combination of Cook and Foyle down low with the occasional Augustine if I need defense.

Recently I have been playing JJ about 10 minutes a game on 11 minute quarters. Usually he is a very productive offensive player and can score about 11 points in 11 minutes. I like him in short stints but it's very hard to play him against Kobe/Lebron/AI/etc...

And yes, Dwight is a monster in the game, he's averaging 27 points and 15 rebounds a game for me....but I'm a very good free throw shooter when it comes to the Magic players.

I have both Live and 2K8.

In 2K8 he gets about 4 mins per game. (5 min quarters)

In Live I traded him and Payton for Farmar and Ratliff.

I tried the Live 08 on PC but it was so horrible I didn't even give a shot on playing more than a few games. :( Back to Live07 and updated rosters and I traded JJ in my first season in a dinasty.
Now I need a good outside shooter. :P

Battie
Howard

I have yet to play any games outside of playing the street game type online with my friend.

EasternMagic, what would you say if I told you that I just decided that I'm only going to play JJ in the last few seconds of blowout games?

He's been doing great in practice so far and I think he is a very good player. However, I'm looking forward to him requesting a trade in the offseason so that I can just exercise the option on his contract to bring him and bench him another season. Rinse and repeat until he retires. :D

They made JJ suck so hard in Live this year. Last year I'd put up 40pts with him easy. This year I cannot make a 3 with him even when I change his 3pt ability to a 99...

On 2k8 I light it up with him, but I think that game sucks so I dont play it much

Dang... I have 2k8 for the 360 and hes the man on it. They had him starting in the system. That being said I've probably only played 4 or 5 games on it...

I try and mirror what the current NBA lineups are in my association, so I was running Nelson, Mo, Turk, Lewis, and Dwight with JJ getting maybe 2-3 mins a game (5 min quarters) But Hedo got a severe ankle sprain on the first game of the 1st round and was out for 6 weeks. I had no one else to replace him with but JJ (Cook's shot is too quick and hard to control in the game) I had to adjust so much because Turk and JJ controls so differently in the game. The Hawks took me to seven games, I dispatched the Raptors in 5 games in the 2nd round, and won over the Cavs in game seven of the ECF with a Jameer jumper with 1.2 seconds left. Now I face the Spurs in the Finals and Hedo still 9 days away from recovery.
About Dwight being unstoppable in the game, I thought the same pre-patch, but after the patch the post D actually got tougher, you now get stripped if you keep going to the same post move all the time, plus the deflections on entry passes have increased too.

I was alot better with him in 2k7 than 2k8. I'll tell you though, Cook is an absolute stud in this game.

Umm, I traded JJ after one game or so.

My SL in the game is: Dwight, Al Harrington, Lewis, Hedo, Nelson

I'm like 30-10 or something on the hardest level.

Note: I'm mega pissed about all these trades going on screwing up my game roster, lol
