WIRETAP: Miller may go to Nets

Post#1 » by PopAGat » Fri Feb 15, 2008 12:52 am

Read the wiretap.

Honestly the players New Jersey is sending to Memphis are absolute GARBAGE. I think we can easily top that. I mean come on. Washed up Magloire and Bostcrap Nachbar? We can beat that..easily.

If Memphis is trading him for nothing should we take advantage of this oppurtunity?

Discuss.

Anyway they should get rid of Cardinal with Miller, this could be their last chance to unload his ugly contract.

Why would we want miller anyway? We have enough non-slasher jumpshooting wing players already. Good ones too. Dont need another.

Rob Thorn. He is a genius. He is the best at trading scrubs for good players. BC should be fired and Thorn should be hired.

Ugh, I'd be pretty pissed if that was what it takes to get Miller & we didn't get him. But, it's the NY Post and the Nets seem to be rebuilding with VC and RJ already there, doesn't seem to make a ton of sense.

If it's true though, BC's gotta get in on it.

I proposed this earlier when the Miller idea came up on this board.

Tor Recieves: Miller
Minnesota Recieves: Humphries
Memphis Recieves: Dixon, Doleac, Graham, Tor 1st, Min 2nd

Something along those lines with possibilities of minor tweaks.

Shawn Marion would look so good as a Raptor.

Crashes and Bangs. Gets Rebounds and is capable of giving you around 20 a game.

We'll be contenders.

Memphis isn't looking for talent, they want expiring contracts plain and simple. Who can offer the better expiring deals. I think they will only keep Gay, Darko and 2 of their current PG's. After that everyone is for sale

With Craig Smith already not sure why they would want a longer contract in Humphries. If you want to get an expiring as part of a threeway to get Miller it might require that you give up AP.

"Bostcrap" killed us in the playoffs. Every shot he took made me cringe. With that said, Miller going to NJ makes it even harder for Toronto to beat a team like the NJ nets.

We'll have too many wing players.

RJ might go to the Pacers for J Oneal, The Nets want to Keep Vince because Carter is better overall player than RJ, He's better playmaker and he's the one who gets double teammed tween him and RJ, That'd be perfect for Mike Miller, playing with Vince Carter .. and they cant get rid of Vince cuz he's the second best playmaker of the team but the PG " Devin Harris" and RJ is not a good playmaker

Miller is not the answer. Wait for next year. We will dominate the "talent for expiring contracts" sweepstakes.

At least he's better than Lamond Murray.
