Murphy, sure. Dunleavy, no. Dunleavy's played up to his contract this season. If Dunleavy were on the free agent market, after the way he's played so far this season, he'd get no less than $8-9M per. He may not be an All-Star, but he's one of the most well-rounded, productive SF's in the league. 17/6/3 isn't exactly chopped liver.

Here's where Dunleavy's current production would rank on the Blazers....

17.3 ppg (2)
5.7 rpg (3)
3.4 apg (4)
.484 fg% (2)
.382 3% (4)
.853 ft% (3)
.88 spg (2)

He'd be your second best player, and your best overall scorer.

As long as you believe that, the next 3 1/2 years should pass quickly.

The production speaks for itself.

Then why are you trying to trade him away?

Because he's 27 and we need to rebuild. Because I'm trying to trade him away on a message board, doesn't mean Larry Bird is in real life. :P

Miles, Jack, and Frye for Dunleavy and Diogu would work in the trade checker.

Not sure if either team would do this but it would be worth considering from the Blazer's side.

Indy would want more but I'm not inclined to offer more other than second round picks.

Sure, but the fact that you want to get rid of him speaks louder.

Since you put so much stock in numbers, you shouldn't mind substituting Granger into the deal instead of Dunleavy. After all Dunleavy's numbers are close but slightly better than Granger

I actually really like this deal. I would do it in a second, but then again I'm not a Dunleavy hater like some on this board are.

I would do that deal as well. If the first game against us was any indication, the numbers for Dunleavy are real, and he appears to really have found himself as a solid NBA player worthy of at least mid-to-high lotto if not quite a third pick. I think he's at least what our most optimistic thoughts about what Miles might be.

This guy has proven to be a huge Fakers homer on the general boards, why he's bringing this here I have no idea.
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

The Darius Miles counter offer. Is there a more effective way to shut up a poster who insists the Blazers take on a so-so player? I think not.

Sure, take Miles and I'd consider taking Dunleavy :)
