i'd take Green or Jaric to land Smith...

ive been told from minny fans that they will do jaric and smith for the least productive expirings my guess that would be arroyo and garrity.

Yeah but his contract ain't cheep. If the heat are really trying to run an uptemo offense then Curry would be the wrong center for the job. Add to the fact that a front line of Curry and Blount is about as bad defensively as Curry and Randolph. Now granted unlike the Knicks the Heat do have good perimeter defenders in Marion and Wade, but that front line will cause more problems then it will help.

His contract is 9 mil for three more years isnt it? Same as Haslem + Smush give or take. And with regard to an uptempo game I keep having Phoenix flash backs with SHAQ.

theth? haha thats a new one....

i said clearly because

a) none of us are GM's
b) there is no way to know what type of impact a player will make until he's on the court for more than 20 games
c) there is no such thing as "perfect"

that's what i meant by clearly...

Whether or not you like Arroyo, he puts a lot of butts on the seats.

I'm sure he puts as many butts in the seats as WINNING does.

Let's try to trade for that guy.

Some bigs to help us acquire WINNING, and are probably attainable, could be:
1. Al Harrington
2. Chris Wilcox
3. Udonis Haslem
4. Chris Kaman
5. Kurt Thomas
6. Nick Collison
7. Joel Pryzbilla

C Curry PF Blount > C Blount PF Haslem

Andre miller and reggie evans is clearly the best move orlando can make, and its hard to contradict that.

Ha! Ha!
oakfanintheeast sounds like andremillerreggieevansagent.
He posts something about those two in every single post.

i'd take Green or Jaric to land Smith...

but it doesn't solve anything for us...

Jaric actually might be a great addition when you think about it, he's tall, quick, lengthy and plays really good D...he and Evans might make a nice duo...doesnt HAVE to have the ball, but can take care of business in the open court...

Oh, please no. I see nothing, absolutely nothing, I like about Jaric's game. Yes, he's tall. Career averages of 7.7 points and 3.9 assists. And when he gets the ball, he doesn't know what to do with it. And on top of that, he literally never has been on a team that was even close to being good. In his three seasons with the Clippers, they were: 27-55, 28-54 and 37-45. In his three seasons with the Timberwolves, they were/are: 33-49, 32-50 and 10-41 (and those first two seasons, Garnett was on the team). Plus, he was on that Eastern European national team that was at each other's throats.

How about ZaZa or Sheldon Williams? Both are not being used and both can rebound and play defense. They should be too expensive to have.
