For years I thought Pierce was pretty underrated. Or maybe just under marketed; he was just a notch below the likes of Kobe & Tmac but I'd have but ahead of guys like Vince, Ray etc. What I really like is his ability to get to the line and when he wants he's also a solid defender.

But I'm not so sure this doesn't go to Ginobili. I really believe he has the ability to be a 25 ppg scorer himself and he just brings so many intangibles. The guy knows how to win, whether it's coming up with a loose ball, a big basket or making a big play for somebody else. I love the guy.

Very close. I think Pierce would do better as a 1st option scorer, but Manu would do better as a 2nd option scorer.

Intangibles go to Manu, and defense goes to him as well (though Pierce has REALLY improved in this aspect).

Very close, and the determining factor is team need (ie: is there already a 1st option star in place, or not?).

Intangibles to Manu but to who could take over a game and do it quicker because I believe both these players can, I would have to say Pierce he is a superstar and could drive it could dribble pretty well could shoot the 3, spreads the floor, he's consistent most of the time. Manu is also a person who spreads out the defense but he has times where he just goes in a bad stretch for a couple games and then gets hot and then starts to slowly cool down which is why I would have to pick Paul, also he doesn't have the strength of Paul.

Ginobili brings so many intangibles to the Spurs, like offensive rebounds.

Yeah, but that still doesn't answer who you think the better player is. Because then you'd be selecting a guy who would fit in better with your team.

Both are underrated. Ginobili and Pierce are two of my favorite players. I like the fact that they love to slash and draw fouls like crazy. They are both great passers and playmakers. It's tough because as a Spurs fan I would lean towards Ginobili, but my head says Pierce.

Pierce has one of the best dual threat games in the league. He can shoot the 3 ball or midrange shot, or drive and draw fouls.

Pierce by a landslide. There is no chance that Pierce isn't. He doesn't flop all over the place he doesn't only have a one dimensional game Pierce does. Paul Pierce can shoot, pass, dribble, he's got more heart than ginobli and when the game is on the line you can put the ball in his hands with the utmost confidence.
Does anyone actually believe that either Mike Brown or Doc Rivers have done any coaching during the series, or in their undistinguished careers?
