ORL/CHI

Post#1 » by Dwightmare » Fri Feb 15, 2008 1:06 am

This would obviously never happen, but it came to me in a dream last night and I enjoy doing these kind of things (only one more week to go).

Kirk Hinrich (11M)
Andres Nocioni (8.5M)
Aaron Gray (.5M)
Total 20M

for

Turkoglu (6.4M)
Arroyo (4M) expiring
Garrity (4M) expiring
Dooling (3.5M) expiring
2009 and 2011 1st round picks
Total 18M

Why for Orlando - gets a tall PG that can defend, feed the post, shoot, guard SG's occasionally, meaning that he could be paired up with Jameer. Nocioni can play both forwards spots, good rebounder, defender and shooter, and gives Orlando that much needed toughness. Gives us a great defensive squad, especially on the wings, with Dwight patrolling the paint.

This Season Next Season
Hinrich/Jameer Hinrich/Jameer/1st round pick
Evans/JJ Childress or Kelenna/Evans or JJ
Lewis/Bogans Lewis/Nocioni or Bogans
Nocioni/ Battie, Cook Nocioni/ Battie, Cook or Fran
Dwight/Battie, Foyle or Gray Dwight/ Battie, Foyle or Gray

Why for Chicago

That's just disgusting. No reason to trade Hedo, especially not for this package.

And Nocioni is not going to be a starting PF on any contender.

I like it except for 2 1st round picks. One I could deal with, two is too much. We'd basically trade Hedo for Nocioni and Hinrich. Done deal for me.

We won't do this. The only player I like from the Bulls on our team is Thabo... he would be great at SG for us... he can take drive the ball in, take the occasional jump shot, handle the ball and pass, which is helpful to Nelson's scoring mentality, defend, play with hustle, etc...

Bec Hinrich and Noc > Hedo.

Hinrich would be a great fit for this team. and Noc replaces some of the lost production from trading Hedo.

Im not saying that I would do this trade, just thought it was fair value, apparenty it doesnt work due to BYC.

um whats with all the hate? This would be a good trade for the magic! Heinrich and Nocioni + Orlando = eastern conference finals/nba finals. I agree 2 first rounders is too much! i would only offer 1! Heinrich would be a perfect pg for svg's system and Nocioni has already shown what he can do. Overall the upgrade the magic get at the pg position is far greater than the downgrade at sf of Turk to Nocioni!

Agree to disagree. I'm not trading Turk for that.

that team doesnt have dwight.... the bulls are really high on gray i think so doubt it would go down exactly like this... otis doesnt have the marbles to pull the trigger on something like this in the middle of a season where we are #3 in the east
Summertime and the livin's easy....
