Kidd suddenly says he wasnt playing at his 100% (yeah ala Vince)

I KNOW!,even if he says that we wouldnt believe him cos a triple double per game being 34 years old cant be made with no effort (bad field goal percentage might still be justified) but JUST SUPPOUSE he does say it

will the nets fans hate him?i wouldnt,he WILL always be the captain no matter what!
Captain Kidd-New Jersey or not,a Net forever!

Jason Kidd did too much for the franchise to hate him. We were nothing when he got here so at least we are something as he leaves. Plus, even if he tried a little harder, no team is going to win wit the crappy front court we currently have. Now if this trade falls through and he continues to force our hand that may change. I don't want to lose him for a package like the one Memphis took for Gasol. But I don't see how that could happen (on either end).

If Jason Kidd goes to Dallas I would be more then happy to root for him to win a championship and I would be more then happy to have Devin Harris on this team. I also look forward to the day his Jersey is retired in Brooklyn.

But I wish Kidd was a little more patient with the front office. I mean he had what every high profile player wants he has "say so". why throw it away!!!!! Rod would have given him a contract ext.
