No Game Thread? Dallas vs. Phoenix

Post#1 » by arkuo » Fri Feb 15, 2008 3:29 am

with the jason kidd fiasco, i guess nobody had the time to put up a game thread for 2 of the best teams in the west...

should be an interesting one as phoenix will not be having shaq in uniform... dallas would not have kidd YET.... both teams having semi depleted lineups coming in tonight's game...

i say it's pretty equal, nash-amare VS. dirk-josh....

thoughts?

I guess why bother if you don't know who your PG is?

Or, he could be like me? Who cares anymore?

i feel for you JES... i know it's been tough losing both harris and diop in a potential deal for kidd... but we really couldnt do a lot bout it so might as well make the best out of the situation....

regarding the PG situation tonight, you think barea will start?

check that, terry started over barea tonight....

looks like JET and dirk have a new "bounce" on their game tonight.... probably had a "renewed" interest on the game with the possible acquisition of kidd...

Sorry no gamethread. With working late, Valentine's Day, and having no clue what either team's roster was going to look like I never could get the graphics done but D. George was most definetely morphing into a bunch of condoms.

We've got the lead after 1. Phoenix should be embarrassed.

You think we have just been losing because we suck?

We have been losing because Harris has been injured.

Typical....Are you Charles Barkley?

Jet Terry has been amazing thus far. He's ACTUALLY making shots.

LMFAO at irony of Devean George playing Point Foward.

Yeah, Terry playing well tonight. Dirk too.

Tough being down two starters against a good team like Phoenix

We would have been up by so much if Howard or even Stack played tonight... Crying shame.

Devean George had a nice night as he was showcased for 43 minutes.

I'm sure it's just a vision of things to come should he stay here.

Trenton Hassell did not play. Hint, hint.

Anyways, George played defense on Nash pretty well, but he could not split the screens the way Harris does.

Stupid Reggie Evans.

I blame him for this loss. If he doesn't jack up J. Ho's back we have that third option we needed tonight.

I personally am even more confused about the Suns trade for Shaq now. Amare and Nash on the pick-and-roll is a thing of beauty. Where is the Diesel going to stand to not be in the way?

The Nash and Amare picknroll was lethal tonight, they didnt have the legs to stop it.

Amare with 3 rebounds...lmao... they live and die with their shooting. Marion > Shaq

OT: The way we played the Suns tonight and the recent injury of Kobe. Would a trade for Kidd make even sense right now? It seems we dont have to fear either the Suns and Lakers. The Spurs will be the team to beat (and GS again) and Harris and Diop are needed in that series.
