I don't see the L doing anything, and if they do, I will hate David Stern for the rest of his life.

That's why there's a 30-day waiting period, isn't it?

Well:
A) There may not have been a pre-arranged deal, but Stack knew he was going to be bought as as they have no plan for Stack and in Stack's mind, he wasn't going to sign elsewhere.

OR

B) There was a pre-arranged deal and Stack blew it. If this is true:
.....1) Stack may be bought out and sign elsewhere (no skin off my back)
.....2) Cuban ponies up the lux tax and uses KVH to cover Diop, George & Stack
.....3) Harris stays a Mav

And if 3 is correct, then George (to delay long enough for other owners to object before the trade went down) and Stackhouse (for his loose lips) just gained bonus points with me.

Dude, I've been hating the little man since the 80's! If you don't hate him by now, you never will LOL!
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

Stack gave up the deal right there. It was pre-arranged. He screwed you guys.
If the L doesn't do anything then everyone will be pissed because it's obvious Cuban worked it out with him already.

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.

Let's come to terms with the facts here. This poster is correct. The deal as it originally was planned has to be scrapped. No Stack and probably no George.

Let's forget Kidd and concentrate on trading for a SG or another Biggs! Or, here's a novel idea - let's not trade at all!

If kvh is used to cover that collection, then lineup is

Kidd/Terry/Barea
Jones/Stack
Howard/George
Dirk/Bass/JuHoward
Damp/Diop

To me that is a winner. I wish mavs could get younger in the backcourt, and I think Jones does not leave the bench in the playoffs.

Mavs need a shake up. They are not right in the head, and I think an basketball empty head like Jason Kidd can make a difference in dallas. I know Cuban does not want to pay the lux tax, but the actions of his current players may force his hand.

Someone help me here.
In the KVH situation. Can we just sign him and trade him to NJ for Kidd?
say KVH and Ager for Kidd?
That would give us
Kidd, Harris,Barea
Jones, Terry,George
Howard, Stack,Hassel
Dirk,Bass, Juwan
Damp, Diop, Faz

Do you guys care about Hassell enough to stay? or you won't care if he takes Stack's place and KVH instead of just 2 million it would be 4 million?

A S&T for that would cost 15 mil. That's about 75% of Kidd's salary next year. What incetive will NJ have?

Also, Cuban would be paying out the arse in LT.

No, we don't care tha much for Hassell. Hell, we don't care that much for Stack either. But apparrently, our FO does.

Harris for Kidd is tooo much. Our FO is on crack to concider that.

Its better than trading Harris for JO giving you guys no point guard at all. IMO Cuban should have gone after Carter because he is cheaper andwould have a better SG. Hopes work for you guys in the end (trade or no trade)

Really, what can the league even do about it? Its just like a couple of years ago when Brad Miller said he is going to sign with Indiana when his contract is up, and it didnt matter how much they paid him... Its Stack's choice... Stern is so powerhappy... I cant wait till he resigns

Stern will still be the commissioner 3 years after he's dead. He reminds me of Mayor Daley in Chicago back in the '60's. A mafia-like powerbase in a legitimate operation.
