OT - Ray Allen on Conan

Post#1 » by wetsthebed » Fri Feb 15, 2008 5:57 am

Ray Allen's gonna be on Conan tonight. Martin Short's on right now, but Ray's coming on after him.

Nothing against Ray, but that was a pretty bad interview. Conan's great, but that just didn't work.

Cohan was awful interviewing him. I like how Allen said he wouldn't go on until the writers strike ended.

Good Union Guy.

It's funny. Conan is considered very tall, but Ray being an average sized baller is still bigger than him.

I don't know what people thought it wasn't funny, I thought it was good all around. It was funny when Ray touched Conan's leg and said, "It's Valentine's Day I get touchy". The writers strike part was funny too.

I didn't think there was anythign wrong with the interview. If you watch Conan he gets his laughs from being awkward and stuff like that. I thought it was pretty good.

Yes, thanks for posting the youtube link!

I used to date a girl who was crazy about not splitting poles, she'd literally walk back around if a light pole (etc.) got in between us. I had never heard of that before I met her.

I like the comment about everybody's routine is everybody else's routine. You got to be on the same vibe and work in harmony. Good ish.

That was pretty good - I don't see why people didn't like it. Ray comes across very well..

what's up with all the black nba players and their extremely oversized suits ? Ray looks like he wears baggy pants.

Are you sure he wasn't actually wearing jeans with the blazer? I sure thought he was...
