Boston helps Dallas get Kidd

Post#1 » by Celts17Pride » Thu Feb 14, 2008 9:59 pm

Just for fun. Would you do it.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... -396&cash=

NJ gets - Diop, Pollard, Scalabrine, Harris, Ager, Stackhouse, $3.0 mill cash, 2009 1st from Dal, 2011 1st from Dal

Dal gets - Kidd, Allen, Wright, 2008 2nd from NJ

Bos gets - Hassell, Fazekas

Just trying to figure out how Danny can get in the middle of this.

We don't want Hassell's contract, and is Fazekas really that good (besides Dallas has no intention fo trading him if they're also giving up Diop)? Plus NJ has no use for Scal...it makes more sense for the, to just take back Hassell themselves

Just bored at work wondering if Ainge could get in the middle of this trade somehow. I really don't want Ainge to make any trades before the deadline. I don't want him to disrupt the team chemistry.

If Ainge could use the $1.0 mill trade exception (from the Seattle deal) to get a big that could contribute and then get Cassell after a LA Clipper buyout then I would be very happy heading into the playoffs. No trades.

I don't like you actual deal but I do thinks its interesting idea to try to facilitate the deal for something mildly valuable i.e. 2nd rounder

seems a like a bit much to say about a guy that has barely played, BUT we need toughness in the playoffs

Wow, what does Allen need to do for people tp see how important he is to this team? His defense is what this team needs and next year his offense will be back. There isn't anyone that can keep up with Allen when he drives to the basket. Besides, he is the best player in the group leaving or coming here.

I like this 4 way facilitate JKIDD to Dallas combined with the Nets deal for M. Miller.
Maybe Devean George would waive his no trade clause to go to the Celtics.
Celtics get Devean George & Kyle Lowry for Scalabrine.

NJ gets Devin Harris, M. Miller. Diop, Ager, & Stackhouse plus two Dallas first round picks. for JKidd, Malik Allen, Nachbar, & Magliore

Dallas Gets JKidd & Malik Allen for Devin Harris,Diop, Ager, & Stackhouse pus two first round picks & a 2nd round pick.

Memphis gets the expiring deals of Magliore, Nachbar and a 2nd round pick from Dallas for Lowry & Miller.

Trash. Why do the Celts do this? Hassell isn't even as good as Posey.

So Allen, Pollard and Scal for Hassell and Fazekas?

Why?

Were short on beef and Fazekas is not a banger. Allen is better then hassel IMO, especially defensively.

Dont get involved in a deal unless it helps you.

Malik Allen of NJ. It's Pollard & Scal for Hassell & Fazekas

Fazekas gives us nothing, he's been playing in the D-league and has no playoff experience. Everyone in Dallas is upset about picking him over Big Baby. We might as well just sign the Kandiman.

I don't know about Hassell. Him and KG didn't work before, and he could potentially mess up the chemistry.

My Bad, if were not losing Tony Allen, I would consider it.

I would be working on adding a big to bang before I gave up on Pollard and Scal.

No because we need Pollard. Pollard is a solid back-up for Perk. We can't let him go.
Does anyone actually believe that either Mike Brown or Doc Rivers have done any coaching during the series, or in their undistinguished careers?

Can we just trade Tony Allen to the Grizzlies for Kyle Lowry (Since they seem intent on giving players away).

They get an expiring contract, and we get a (albeit young) scrappy backup pg for Rondo.

No don't trade Tony he's developing so well currently why would you want to trade him? Lowry isn't going to be as good as him, keep Tony and for sure don't do the trade presented.
