OT - Raptors Claw Hoody

Post#1 » by ToffKobe » Fri Feb 15, 2008 8:32 pm

Someone made a thread about this a few weeks or a month back, but I can't find it now. I was at Champs at Scarborough Town and I bought a white hoody with the Raptors claw logo around the jacket. I got it for $119.99 but I wasn't sure if that was a great price.

Maybe I just don't remember correctly but I swear I thought I read from some people here that they got it for $69.99 or something like that. Also, I did see someone wearing a red Raptors hoody and it had the NBA logo as well as red and black imprints of the Raptors claw logo. I was at a Raptors game last week and I asked the guy at Center Sports and he told me they have them at Scarborough Town or Yorkdale. The guy at Champs said they only had black and white hoodies so can anyone clarify this for me please?

And this is the white one that I got.

YES, that's the original price I remember someone mentioning they bought it for too! And the red one is the one I'm actually looking for, has more detail on it and what not. Ok so do you know where he got it from by any chance?

Hip Hop clothes are for teenager and children. It's beyond me how anyone past Highschool still wears Hip Hop gear.

Hey,ToffBosh I have the Black Raptors hoody with grey, white and red claws all over it and I got it from Athletes World in Fairview Mall for $59.99. It was a buy one get one half price deal and this was about a month ago. So I got two different hoodies one being the raptor one for 59.99 and a NY yankee one about $120.

Umm not cool to group people based on how they dress. I personally don't have any hoodies except this one. I usually go for the GQ look. I have a couple of Bball jerseys that I'll wear on occasion so not sure where you're getting at. I just like the Claw logo on the hoody, that's all.

And thanks RapsFuturePG#26, I think I'll be returning my jacket soon lol. Considering I dished out a lot of cash and most of the suggestions in here are 59.99 and 69.99 I'll give Athletes Word and Footlocker a look.

:wavefinger:

prepare to be flamed. also, know your audience dude, cuz i sense unfounded anger there. do you seriously think most people on this board aren't young?

a lot of people on this board are young and of course enjoy basketball and basketball culture. do you expect them to wear suits to class?

also, there is nothing wrong with hip hop culture, you would know it if you paid attention to anything besides few dirty rap songs and videos on BET.

you seems like one of those people who said stuff like rock and roll and elvis swinging his hips were ruining the world, generations ago.

hip hop or any music form doesn't cause war, hunger and poverty. try again! i hate it when ppl blame rap artists for their children being criminals when they should be looking at their lack of parenting skills.

Mr. Savage wrote:What is the reason that a big majority of posters here irrationally hate on European based players ?

Whenever Dirk is mentioned, he is soft and a choker. Gasol is soft and not a leader. Calderon and Turkoglu are overrated. Manu and Varejao are floppers (I know they are Sputh Americans, but they played in Europe at a very young age). Okur is soft and a chucker. AK-47 is a crybaby.

And then there are the stereotypes about Argentineans for example who are nation of floppers.

What's so funny though, is the fact that these above mentioned players are core players on teams that are fairly successful.

Still the hate and ridicule totally outweighs the praise and respect they get here.

You might think they are Kwame Brown type of players with the amount of hate they get.

Just cause people are bashing your Euros doesn't mean you have to take it out on Hip Hop.
