So the "Big Cactus" is going to play. It's going to be a fun game to watch.

Its going to be fun to see how this works out. I hope that if it is not as good, people don't start panicing. Give it time. Too bad Bynum and maybe Kobe might be out. Maybe not.

Someone suggested they should call him the "Saguaro"....which I guess is a huge tree-like cactus native to the Desert Southwest....

I like that name.

He's playing even though his finger is whack right now the media make it seem like the man is crying all damn day about it.

I just hope the media or you guys don't get sucked into the whole Shaq vs Kobe drama again. The two of them have put aside their past and both have moved on.

When one guy is about t turn 36 and the other 30 in August it's time to grow up. I remember when the Diesel went to Miami, it seemed like their fans took the responsibility to keep the flames burning. There was a lot of emotion involved between us and them.

Hell I got two warnings and one suspension for just voicing my opinions on their board. Anyway I don't think that will be a problem here, I actually like a lot of you guys here and I don't take it personal just because you may have a different opinion of the Lakers then our fans do.

As long as the discussion is just on ball or what ever relates to it , it's all good with me.

Good luck in the stretch run fellas.

deep3, I think most of us were separate enough to not really get most of it.. except the Kobe-hatin'. We understand that.

But seriously, Most of us are too nervous about the whole thing to think too far into it, I think.

But that won't stop the commentators, I'm sure.

Yeah I know they'll jump start it anyway just for the sake of ratings and all. For us Laker fans it's old news really, but you know they( the media) will look for any little comment from both and volleyball it back to each.

I'd like to think both of them are past worrying about what the other says.

but expect media to hype everything but when you look at their eyes, you know they still respect each other.
