Kobe delaying finger surgery

Post#1 » by jzmagik » Sat Feb 16, 2008 2:32 am

If he opted for the surgery right now, reports say he will likely miss 6 weeks, which will likely drop the Lakers out of the playoffs, as they are only3 games ahead of the 8th seed. I'm not sure how much this injury is bothering Kobe, but it if can get worse without surgery, then there could be problems on the Laker's horizon. I hope he opts for surgery though so it makes the West playoffs a little less competitive.

why do you hope that? if the lakers are good, its good for the nba.

he seems fine when playing. maybe if he stopped dunking like crazy, with all that flare, it won't get worse.

i hope it works out, because playing the lakers without him would just be boring. and if he does miss the 6 weeks, i don't see how they'll maintain their place. pau gasol ain't carrying them afloat if bynum and Kobe our out.

what does everyone else think?
