Let's say they don't make a trade, continue on, go to the playoffs, improve maybe a little, and then next season begins and it's said again "we just want to play one season with everyone healthy"

How long before a trade is just necessary?

I went 3 months if we get put out of the playoffs period unless we get to the finals or WCF 2nd or 1st round we have to make a move. No Questions asked IMO.

if its another first round playoff exit, i'm sure a coaching change will be the first thing to go down. at that point i don't think a trade is mandatory...i could see them waiting another half season to see where a different coach puts the team, and how they're playing...etc.

Yeah I agree. I also think the new coach may demand something to change about the team as well.

I say if we don't get Nene back we need to make a trade..we don't have enough bigs to compete in the playoffs now that the Lakers got Gasol and Bynum and now the Sunss have Shaq...I think we need to make a move to make us better..either getting a veteran PG or a defensive big who can score in the post..because as of now we don't have much guys that can finish strong under the rim...camby is useless and Martin depends on his jumper most times due to his size...if Nene doesn't come back we will definitely have problems in the playoffs...im not against getting Miller either to help space the floor; i just think we need a trade to compete now with all the recent trades in the west.[/u]

If they see another 1st round exit (or don't make the playoffs, god forbid), something needs to change over the summer.

Return to Denver Nuggets
