What's up with Nenad Krstic?

Post#1 » by DarkoMilicic » Sat Feb 16, 2008 6:56 pm

Is he getting back on track? Is he playing worse than you ever imagined? I remember when he had a beautiful mid range shot that he killed bigs like Shaq with. He was a decent low post scorer and an average rebounder. I know his injury is holding him back, but do you think he will EVER get back to his 17 and 7 seasons?

He is slowly starting to show signs of his post game. His jumpshot has been off, but lately he has been making them. He is starting and averaging around 15MPG, slowly increasing each game. He is more active around the boards then he has ever been. (5,8,8,5 in 15,17,15,17 minutes respectively). I expect him to play around20 minutes when the 2nd half of the season begins.

Just been a few games, and he's still on limited minutes, but things are looking very good.

He's moving around nicely, active, looking more confident every game.

He's making the whole team better, balancing the floor. His experience and poise, and 7 foot body, are alleviating some of the pressure on Boone and Sean, freeing up their games.

Much more importantly, he looks like he's over the mental part of his injury.

His offense is slowly getting back (Id say its around 84%), his conditioning is back to 100% however his D is better than its ever been.

His timid 7ft frame scares defenders
