..dunk contest than Barkley of becoming Governor"

http://hoopshype.com/interviews/moon_sierra.htm

The Youtube video where it seems like you're jumping from way behind the free-throw line... Is that hoax or what?

JM: Like I had told everybody, you gotta be there to see it. You will have to watch it on TV or watch it live and see what happens. If I have to pull it out, then I will pull it out.

Charles Barkley said you have no chance to win the dunk contest. What do you say about that?

JM: Aww, you know what? I have to tell you... I have a better chance of winning the dunk contest than Charles Barkley has of going back to Alabama and become Governor. I tell you right there.

and we all know about chuck and his hometown love.. jamario better be putting on a show tonight.

He's hyping this up a lot, better not have a letdown. I don't know why he's talking so much ****. Even Vince refrained from saying anything close to what Moon's saying and he happens to be the King of dunks.

Yeah, I agree. Moon should just keep quiet.

Things always turn out better that way.

I don't think Moon talking so much to the media is such a good idea.

He's setting himself up for failure by his constant over-hyping.

Jamario is just having fun with the media. He's a rookie, and I'm sure he's enjoying all this attention and hype, and probly just having fun with it. I honestly do think he has the dunks to win.

Moon is just enjoying the spot light.

Any time we have to ask ourselves "what if" there will always be disappointment. For Moon's sake I hope he has something crazy up his sleeve otherwise he's going to end up facing Charles in a hot dog eating contest next year.

I hope he wins so that Barkley and the other doubters can kiss Jamario's moon.

Jamario is a smart dude. He has legitimized his stay in the NBA. Now even barkley is talking about him. He may be talking some trash, but everyone in the league knows who he is now. There is no way he falls out of the league now for the rest of his career.

I personally think he has a good chance at making the finals because he has more hang time than any of the competitors.

I don't get why people are saying Moon is overhyping himself.
All the contestants are doing it... So what?

For those that are oblivious to it, it's called:

Showmanship.

There's a new word for ya.

Haha, Jamario's a bit more clever than I thought. That comment about Barkley being governor was quite witty... haha.

Dude is just having fun. I like his confidence.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

Moon is doing what he has to. He's relatively unknown by regular joe fans in America, so he's talking big to become a more recognized name. Now when these regular fans hear barkley talk about him, they'll know who he is.

This year, the dunk contest is a popularity contest as the fans are choosing the winners. Fans won't choose moon if they don't know who he is because they will be looking to vote for the players they already know.

Im starting to get worried with all ththis confidence he has. He is pretty confident for someone who hasn't won a dunk contest yet.
