On that note (no pun intended), why does the NBA seem to be allergic to big-name acts. Compare any NBA event to, say, Superbowl halftime.

I mean, we got, if I caught the names correctly, New Orleans own "legendary" Dirty Brass Band and also Dr. John. Yay?

Beats the crap out of that country band with the dancing midget from Denver a couple of years back.
