I know, and NFL fans seem to have forgotten that my Saints have been robbed of the Superbowl every year for about the last 40 years.

It's sad really :nonono:

Robbed? Are you serious? How?

People just keep talking about that damn Kings team. They lost, stop crying and move on with your life.

Robbed as game 6 of that year's WCF was one of the most badly officiated games in not just NBA history, but possibly of the entire basketball history.

Strange contradiction of feelings I've noticed on the latest Suns/Spurs series and 02 Kings/Lakers series.

6th place puts you against the Magic most likely. Horford trying to guard Dwight Howard will be funny.

hawks would likely win if they play the magic first round...it's the best case scenario for the hawks

hawks have beaten orlando consistently since dwight showed up

Likely is being too arrogant. BUt I say I'd like our chances. That series is 50/50 to me right now

We have to see what this team looks like with Bibby

bull people also forget how webber threw the ball out of bounds and the ref gave it back to the kings then Bibby hit the game winner. Aint nobody rob them of ****. If they could have won they would have won. You aint talking about one game your talking about a series.

MagicFan3 wrote:lol @ Atlanta fans saying they will beat the Magic in the playoffs. Regular season is one story; playoffs is something completely different.

If the Hawks can get up to the 5th seed, they might be able to sneak into the second round against the Cavs. SF would be the only position that they would not have the edge in.

I'm not saying we would beat the Magic, but I like our chances. It's not like this Magic team has some great playoff history. We defended Howard nearly to perfection our last game. He just has a hard time beating us.

^That was w/ Lo Wright guarding him most of the time though right?

Of the top 3 teams I think the Hawks would much rather play Orlando, I don't know why that surprises Orlando fans.

What if Sacramento tears up their whole line up in order to have the best positioning in the next 2-3 years seeing as its next-to-impossible to come out of the west ATM.

Do you think this is a sign of Sacramento moving to Las Vegas?

And was Ron Artest using his ESP by demanding a trade? Was the Malice at the Palace just a precautionary measure he took upon himself to minimize injuries/protect the rest of the people at the game?

Let's look at the facts and not idiotic Kings fans' revisionist history. It was an out of bounds play and Bibby grabbed Kobe to prevent him from taking the pass inbounds. That's a foul on Bibby right there and should have been immediately called. The fact it wasn't is on the refs so if you want to cry bad officiating in that case, we can agree. Yes, Kobe did swing his elbow to get free but best-case scenario for the Kings would be fouls both way. Kings fans also constantly complain about the free throw disparity in the Lakers favor but conveniently forget there was the same numerical disperity in the Kings favor in Game 2 of that series.

If your team choked on you for the past few years and this is the first year they might not... you'd have an inferiority complex too.

Reason being there is still hope for ORL, whereas ATL is looking to do what they did last year with a little more success.

edit:ATL should be able to get the 8th spot with this trade finalized. And as everyone is staying 6th is not out of reach at all.

Don't even bother. They had their chances to win (in 4 games) - and they blew it. This coming from a Sixers fan.

ETA: This is a good trade for both teams. Atlanta should make the playoffs now :o , a truly scary thought.

That is true. It was Lo Wright who came in and really gave Howard fits. Regardless we have had success against the Magic without Wright. Dwight isn't a big fan of Zaza either.

I blame Peja and Doug Christie.
