That never happens to other PGs? :)

It does, but Rondo gets his teamates to the line an extrodinary amount of times.

I personally doubt the future all-star part but the couple of rings is certainly possible

Really? With his constant improvement, and ability to drive to the hoop I truely beleive he will become an all-star. Maybe not a 5 or more time all-star but a few all-star games are certainly possible. He's already getting better at shooting, he's improving his ball-handling (slowly) and he's showing he has his speed back. He's a special player and I think he will be an all-star.
Does anyone actually believe that either Mike Brown or Doc Rivers have done any coaching during the series, or in their undistinguished careers?

Come on people will you stop going back and forth about how good rondo is? Half of you guys are getting insulted because were not calling him God and you dont think were saying we like him and that hes a good player. And the other half are saying it vice versa. Listen we all like Rondo on this board and we all think he exactly what this team needs, I also think we all believe that hes been improving this whole year so cant we just leave it at that?

I think he's been playing at an all-star level since KG went down. I'll leave it at that.

I think Rondo is a good bet to make the 2011-2017 all star games.

Next up for Danny Ainge: send Leon Powe to Minnesota for Al Jefferson and 1st round draft pick(s).

I guess we are talking percieved value/trade value versus actual value to the team.

If you need a superstar you are better off with a SAR/Antoine Walker caliber player like Al Jefferson.

If you have superstars and need a legitimate big man to battle for the paint, Powe is the man.

If you want to pay a guy 10 million a year to put up numbers than Jefferson is your guy. If you want to pay the minimum and actually get defense, rebounding and a guy who doesn't need to hog the ball and need the team to change its offense and focus on getting the ball to him to get numbers.... Powe is the guy.

Al Jefferson vs. Scal/Powe/Davis (no KG, no Perk). If you believe the hype.... Al should have dominated. If you watched the game you could see what a fraud that hype really is.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

There shouldn't be any debate other than pure stubbornness and blindness as far as Jefferson being the best player Ainge has drafted. Either Jefferson or Marcus Banks, at the very least.

That being said, the package of Rondo/Powe was an excellent 2006 pickup, and is helping us greatly right now... I'd still say the Jefferson one was the best. It had the best player drafted in Jefferson, who ended up being the main piece to getting Garnett; Tony Allen when healthy is starting material and our best perimeter defensive player, and Delonte was a solid backup and productive player.

Both drafts were really good and have helped this team become what it is right now.
