You have to figure that we'd get a bad contract (Brad Miller, Kenny Thomas, or Kenyon Martin) sent back to us...I'm guessing Denver's trying to get Artest, but Sacramento wants to dump Kenny Thomas, so the jumbling's starting to occur.
Actually, I'm guessing that Aldridge is (as usual) full of ****, but, whaddaya going to do...
In fact, I was playing with the trade checker, and the Kings would almost have to be sending out a combination of Miller, Artest, and Kenny Thomas, with SAR possibly being substituted for one of them, in order to make the salaries work.
You figure, Denver will only take back a bad contract if they can dump theirs, specifically, Kenyon Martin, so you got a lot of albatrosses flying around in these scenarios, and I figure at least a couple of them will get hung around the Pacers' neck.
The only expirings I can see are Najera ($5.0mm) and JR Smith ($2.1mm) in Denver...I'm not sure what JO gets Sacramento, and while Denver may be interested in Artest, how much are they really willing to pay?
Seems to me like a good way to find a worse deal than the VC rumors or even the Zach Randolph deals Knicks fans and NY papers have kicked around.
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.
