I'm in University and I still think a C is below expectations. There is absolutely no way a C grade can be considered meeting expectations.

That's below a 75, that's not expectations.

When everyone starts giving B's as C's it's hard for an instructor to give a C. Even though C is satisfactory. I had an instructor who was old school and gave C's as his average grade because that's what C is. Or should be.
