How many Rodmans and Barkleys have their been in the history of the NBA?
And NO-KG-AI, like I said earlier, no one compares to Howard, but Horford is about as athletic and strong a big man you're going to find in this league. Horford hasn't been pushed around by ANYONE.
My point is that you don't have to be one particular body type for a player to be successful.
Look at Gerald Green physically that guy is amazing, on the court not so much.
Seriously compare physically Gerald Green to Larry Bird. If both were 22 years old (and not famous) warming up on a playground which one would you pick first to be on your team?
But it's hard to quantify basketball IQ and heart.
Dennis and Barkley simply wanted the ball more than anyone else.
Over time we will see how badly Horford wants the ball.
But you can't simple write off a guy because of a couple inches. Look at Boozer.
