Hey guys, Bulls fan here.
I have a question for those of you that have been fans of thi team since(or before) the days of Dominique....what was the starting 5 in 1987-88(the year you took the Celtics to seven games in the second round)?
I'm guessing Kevin Willis at the 5, Dominique at the 3, and Doc Rivers at the 1, but who else? Spud Webb didn't start then, did he?
1987-88 starting lineup?

If it is the 87-88 season where we took the celtics to 7 (not the 88-89 season), the lineup was basically this.
C: Tree Rollins--- started 59 games
PF: Kevin Willis--- started 55 games
SF: Dominique Wilkins--- started 76 games
SG: Randy Wittman--- started 82 games
PG: Doc Rivers--- started 80 games
Jon Koncak started 22 games. Cliff Livingston started 32 games. Battle, Carr, and Webb also started a game or two.

Dominique Wilkins, Doc Rivers and Randy Wittman were the main starters on the team. Kevin Willis started the majority of the games, but not all, and it was shared by both Tree Rollins/John Knocak.
The team was able to mix the lineup with even when injuries hit. Cliff Levingston even started often!
Reminds me of how much I can't stand Milwaukee Bucks, because we beat them before we loss to Boston, and Milwaukee returned the favor the year after.
Edit: Good page uga
