You acknowledge the blunder. Now my next question is, is that dunk a 50?

:banghead:
Was it a final round dunk?
Would it have made a difference if it wasn't a 50?
Should Dwight have taken another attempt to please Raptor fans?
No.

I could care less what round it was in, that dunk, upon further review is more like a 40

No, it was a 90, but sadly the cards only went to 10. It doesn't really matter because even without that dunk he embarased the other 3 dunkers.

1. No, it's not.

2. Even if it was, he would have beat Moon.

The bigger embarrassment is the fact that the slam dunk competition went to a guy who didn't even execute a traditional dunk. Had Steve Francis or that Chris Andersen guy done that "dunk" they would've murdered him.

To answer the question this thread poses...simply Yes it was a dunk.

He rose above and through it threw the basket, that is a dunk in my book. Most fans dissing it are just bitter bitches because their player didn't win.

I would say it was not a dunk, but it is so entertaining that he got away from it....

You're right, he didn't execute a traditional dunk.

Which is precisely why he won.

First of all, I rarely ever complain about the magic. Im usually an optimistic person, But, it was not a dunk. If Gerald Green did exactly what Dwight did, I bet u guys would be pissed off. Also, that other guy had a good argument, was Kareems jumphook a dunk? it was always above the rim. Dwight did own everyone else I agree, but the the best real dunk was the backboard tapper.

And for those saying the dunk wasnt spectacular...He jumped off two feet from a foot within the free throw line!!!!! Did not get a huge running start, caught the ball in the air with a pass that came OVER the backboard and he tomahawks it.

The guys head was over the rim and the ball was over the square!!!!!!!!!

Its not even close he torn the competition apart with his beastly bare hands!!!!!!!!!!

You know, themadmagician, if you're so convinced that the attempt was flawed and should not have counted or he should have made another attempt, then perhaps you should consider removing it from your signature...
