Same. Other than Dexter, I don't watch any television other than sports. Almost positive the third season is already confirmed.

A friend kept suggesting I finally read the books. I reluctantly did: avoid them, the guy is a HORRIBLE writer. The television show is much better.

I did check out Californication just because David Duchovny was in it. Its decent and occasionally funny but too often it seems like "Sex in the City for dudes."

A couple of canceled HBO shows that I would highly recommend are Deadwood and Carnivale. Deadwood has some of the best written dialog I've ever seen on a show before. Swearingen is easily my favorite television character of all-time. Plus its violent and vulgar as all hell.

Carnivale starts a little slow but gets very entertaining. Great overall narrative with some memorable characters.

Two of the better shows I've ever seen (prefer them both to Dexter), its unfortunate they were both canceled given the tripe that is generally on TV.

Best show of all time, IMO.

I watch it online. If I had Showtime, that would be the only show that I would "not miss."

I love Scrubs, but I'll probably just pick up the season on DVD whenever it comes out. Too long of a break with the writers strike. I can't wait for Always Sunny to come back on. Still a long ways off, though. I like random shows on Food, Discovery, TLC, Travel, and Animal channels. Nothing I really watch with regularity, though.

I watch Family Guy reruns at night during Adult Swim. Never catch the new ones. Again, never catch the new ones, but I'll watch South Park or The Office when I'm flipping through and I see that they're on.

Sports are the only regular thing.

If its not sports, it usually consists of George Lopez and Law and Order SVU. I'm so busy with school in the morning and work after school, that most of the shows that are on at night when I get home from work are re-runs. Good stuff non the less

The Wire is my favorite show on tv, too bad this is the last season. The reruns they show on BET don't do and justice whatsoever. I missed the first 2 season which i need to catch up on DVD.

Entourage is a great show

The writers strike unfort. pushed 24 back until Jan 09'

Forgot to ask....any chance you think Omar kills Marlo to end the show? I'd love for it to go down that way, but I think Marlo kills Omar and the BPD finally get Marlo on the last episode.

30 Rock
Jericho
In Treatment
CSI:

I've been watching that a lot lately. I really enjoy it.

My DVR is set to record the following...

24 (eventually)
The Unit (again, eventually)
The Office (ditto)
House
Arrested Development (thank you HD Net and G4)
Chuck

If I'm not watching something I have recorded, I'm either watching sports or Food Network.

You're the only person I'm aware of that watches it as well. In Treatment is an acting clinic. Gabriel Byrne is award-worthy in it.
