Bibby heading to ATL Hawks!!!!

Post#1 » by Baller 24 » Sat Feb 16, 2008 8:15 pm

The Kings have reached an agreement in principle to send veteran guard Mike Bibby to the Atlanta Hawks for guards Anthony Johnson and Tyronn Lue and forwards Lorenzen Wright and Shelden Williams, sources told The Bee on Saturday.

I had more in kitchen than that offer. He would have been a great fit :(

But seriously though, great deal for the Hawks, Bibby's one of the most underrated PG's in the NBA. This is seriously one of the most exciting seasons ever with a lot of big names being moved.

Yea we didn't have those types of contracts. And I don't think we are willing to part with anyone on this team except for draft picks and Mike James and Steve Francis.

Wow... good move by the Hawks. They need a veteran PG like Bibby.
Pretty strong core with Bibby, JJ, Marvin, J-Smoove, and Horford.

Yeah, we didn't have the expirings to make it work, and the Maloofs HATE Adelman and will not do anything to make his team better. So we are not getting anything done with the Kings anytime soon. We can probably forget about Artest.

I don't see what the Kings gain here.

Of course nothing prevents the Hawks from trading Bibby quickly. Remember they traded for Rasheed Wallace and moved him to Detroit in a couple of days. If the trade becomes official Monday, they have til Feb 21 to work something else out....Not saying that will happen,but...

No I think this time they are actually going to try to make the playoffs with Bibby.

Aaron Brooks and Luther Head for Acie Law?
