Dennis Rodman seemed to do ok and he wasn't exactly long or tall.

How many Rodmans and Barkleys have their been in the history of the NBA?

And NO-KG-AI, like I said earlier, no one compares to Howard, but Horford is about as athletic and strong a big man you're going to find in this league. Horford hasn't been pushed around by ANYONE.

My point is that you don't have to be one particular body type for a player to be successful.

Look at Gerald Green physically that guy is amazing, on the court not so much.

Seriously compare physically Gerald Green to Larry Bird. If both were 22 years old (and not famous) warming up on a playground which one would you pick first to be on your team?

But it's hard to quantify basketball IQ and heart.

Dennis and Barkley simply wanted the ball more than anyone else.

Over time we will see how badly Horford wants the ball.

But you can't simple write off a guy because of a couple inches. Look at Boozer.

I didn't write him off. I said if something stops him it will be his height/length, not his athletic ability.

Easily?

Oden hasn't played a game.

Horford may be ROTY and Josh Smith is a candidate for DPOTY and a guy who is on the border of top 25 in the league in efficiency.

Aldridge isn't even in the top 60.

Talk to me when one of those two guys who are "easily" the best in the league rank in the top 60 in efficiency.

Then you've already seen what he can do in full playing time. His numbers won't get that much better from there.

Ooh ooh, i thought of another one.

Fun fact: Over the past month, Andrew Bynum and Greg Oden have averaged the EXACT SAME amount of points, minutes, assists, steals, blocks, PER, fouls, fg%, ft%, and championships.

WEIRD HUH?!

You should check your boy Dwight Howard's stats before you speak.

Is this a serious post?

So I guess somebody kidnapped the real Dwight Howard.

Since he put up 12/10 his first year with nearly 33 minutes per game, he shouldn't have improved that much.

No it's weird that you say a duo is hands down the best when one guy has never even played in the NBA and the other isn't more efficient than his counterpart on another team

That is weird huh. But it cant be anywhere NEAR as weird as a team rallying together to continue to play well without possibly one of the top 3 bigmen in the entire league. I mean, we all know Kobe's good, but he's not BYNUM good...how that team pulled together without that BEASTLY 13 / 10 is just beyond me
