Injury updates (KG, Scal, Baby & Perk)

Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett, who has missed the last nine games due to an abdominal strain, said he had a strong workout today and suffered no setbacks.

Garnett, an 11-time All Star, still plans to play on Tuesday against Denver, but says he will leave the final decision with coach Doc Rivers. A solid practice Monday in Denver at the Metro State University could solidify his chances to return to the lineup.

1. Looks like KG will be back against Denver.
2. Scal is out for the next 5 games.
3. Baby appears to be fine and is expected to play in Denver.
4. There is still no definite word on Perk. He is still listed as day-to-day.

I think Pollard is also ready to go, as Doc said after the New York win that he would use him on the Westcoast trip.

Thanks P2. I'm glad to hear that Baby's injury wasn't worse. It didn't look too bad when it first happened so it was hard to understand why he was crying so much. I think it just scared him as he had never really been hurt before. The kid needs to toughen up a bit.

No one can tell how much pain someone's in.

If Big Baby's weight dropped on my leg, I guarantee I'd be crying.

I'm kind of surprised that Glen Davis is returning so quickly.

It looked like he spun out (twisted) his left knee, and then,

when he was lying on the floor,

Tony Allen landed on his right foot.

I hope that Tony is OK.

Anyway, twisted knees can take 3 weeks for everything to feel right.

If you recall, Scot Pollard helped get Davis to the locker room (I forget who was on the other side of him).

Doc said that KG is 50-50 for DEN game. I don`t think he will play. Doc won`t let him. And Perk supposed to be OK, so I expect Perk to play but not KG...
