Am I the only one who thinks this record is pretty dumb? First of all, it wasn't "2 minutes", it was two separate one minute spans. Very different than going for two minutes straight. Second, we've seen that he can (apparently) hit something like 24 out of 25 in practice. I bet he could do it twice with a break inbetween. Why isn't that the record?

(Note: I'm not hating on Kapono, just Guinness :))

That Guinness World Record guy had a pretty busy weekend.

Four half court shots will be beat easily, but Kapono's record may stand for a long time.

I remember watching tape of Ray Allen in practice and he hit like 30 3s in a row. I wonder if anyone in practice has broken the Kapono record but not known it? Actually, Kapono has probably done better than that himself in the past. It'd be strange if he just happened to have his best shooting stretch ever, when Guiness was around, right?

Regarding Kapono, why don't you guys play him more?! I don't understand why A Parker gets so much time on the Raptors. He's been having a pretty inconsistent season.

He can't play defense and teams crowd him and then he tries to drive but is usually unsuccessful. He can't create his own shot and he struggles to get away from quick, atheltic defenders that guard him closely.

And the Raptors dont have any inside game which is why Kapono gets shut down easily. Not hard to gaurd the 3point line when theres no threat inside and no threat off the dribble.

I think Hopla might see that and take down the record...
