Tahddeus Young - Jeff Green - Al Thorton - Corey Brewer

Post#1 » by endo » Mon Feb 18, 2008 11:06 am

Admittedly I haven't seen much of any of the four players games.

For those who have, who do you think is the better prospect?

Who's the best defensively?

Who's the best shooter?

Who has the best attitude and work ethic?

Who's the best rebounder?

Al Thornton can do it all.

But I think Young and Green will be the better prospects because of their younger age.

Thornton has the potential to be a monster, Jeff Green is the best all around player that ive seen, Cory Brewer is the only guy I havent seen really play so he may be the best but I dont know.

Thornton will be the best of these 4 players.

I pick Thaddeus hes the smartest player out of the bunch and the best rebounder and he also shoots a much better percent then all of the rookies mentioned above.

Al Thornton is a beast right now, and I think either him or Jeff Green will be the better of the 4. Young has a lot of upside, and could possibly surpass either of the 2 in the future. Not impressed at all with Corey Brewer, I expected a lot more from him coming out of Florida.

Well of the four Young has been the most productive. Right now though I believe Al Thornton is the best player. Really Green, Young, and Thornton are relatively close right now. With that said Al is already 24, while Young is only 19. Young is easily the best prospect.

I haven't seen the other player yet but Corey Brewer had troubles adjusting to the NBA game when the season started. his shooting and shot selection was horrible but once he had some confidence he had at least decent %. his defense is okay but he needs to get used to the pro level there too because he makes a lot fouls IIRC (but Rashad McCants is way more prone with that so it might happen that I mix them up... I have a hard time prevent me from mixing players up)

once Brewer hits more than 40% from the field and gains maybe like 20-25 lbs of muscle he'll do fine in the NBA.

but maybe that's only my personal, semi-homeristic hope
