Andris Biedrins interview (need help translating)
This is what Ive got so far from one translator ....We need em and Luu to give us a good run down.
1. Belinelli isnt playing because of a lack of quickness and defense...He's never worked out before in a gym.
2. Kosta isnt playing because of a lack of quickness
3. Patrick is on Nellie's black list.
4. Webber is not showing any negative ambitions, so there should be no conflicts in the locker room. He's slower than the team, but his passes and verteran moves make him good.

Loyal- how did you found this article???
I have to run to the gym, so shortly:
- Andris thinks that team is playing much better than last year and are improved with the time to gel with Jack and Al
- "Hornets", "Suns", "Lakers", "Jazz", "Mavericks" un "Spurs" Warriors are somewhere under and will be fighting for the last 2 spots to get in
- Not much bad to say about Web. Andris thinks that it won't effect his playing time and although Web is old, can't run and jump as he use to, the hope is that he will provide much needed help in PO with his bulk, rebounding, experience and mostly passing in half court games. Web is not showing any bad ambitions in locker loom and seams like a quit person
- Not much hope for POB and Kosta. Kosta is just too slow, although he tries. When they do sprints or game running at practice, he can't keep with the team and POB is in doghouse for some reason???!!! which is very tough to get out of, if u r in. For a singe mistake he gets bashed very hard. Seams like he feels sorry for POB. Nothing about Wright
- scoring is enough on this team with Ellis, Davis and Jack. If other's want to get PT, that have to play defense
- team was little over confident coming into season, thus 0-6 start! They though that clips game and now this last chichago game should have been won! And loses were not taken lightly after
- it's harder to play this season, since teams have scouted them very well. Pick'n roll is not going through as easy as it was with Andris, also now teams are blocking him out
- he fees that he could take bigger part in offense, but it's not his personality to go to Don and ask for more touches and Andris knows that with Don you don't play those kind of games. He feels that with time it will come and it's better since last year, they do run some plays for him

Thanks for the translation Q.
Sounds like Webber is meshing well, and some other insightful stuff. Mostly the fact that it seems the Dubs don't take some of their weaker competition as seriously as they should. I guess they don't really "play down to their competition" so much, but rather they don't get up for the lesser teams. Good to hear though that they understand how serious it is to give away some of those gimmie games.
And damn, even Beans doesn't know why POB's in the doghouse.

No, no, no . . . we learned this weekend, He's just like Chris Mullin. That must be a translator error.

Go to D league and get some game run you dumb foreign bastard!
(someone translate that to Italian for him)
P.S. How freakin bad must your defense have to be for Nellie not to play you?

Are we allowed to say that Nelli hates Obee now?
I realize it's entirely plausible that he hates him for basketball reasons, but I think we can take this pretty much as solid confirmation of the "hate" for whatever reason.

Hear, hear.
I think this just ripped the final shred of hope I had of POB coming back next year. You know it's bad when even your own teammates are basically saying, "man, I don't know what you did, but coach sure hates you".

Maybe he's trying to make Patty quit?
Nellie probably wants the roster spot for GP.

Just cut the kid...There's no reason at all to still have him on the roster...Nellie's pulling a Al Davis...About the same age as when Al blacklisted the great Marcus Allen...I read that it was all over Al being upset with who Marcus was sleeping around with...Goes to my theory that Nellie caught Joy and POB in the bathtub during a warriors party...Sleepy51 wrote:-= original quote snipped =-

Great find
This was actually great to hear... it makes me think Biedrins may want to stay
Swish
I'm loving these ad-lib interviews some of our players are giving.... first CJ Watson's blog (which has not been updated since he made mention of Nellie's timeouts) and now Andris talking about how Nellie just jumps all over POB all the time..
50 wins @ a price

WOW, your translation is actually correct.

He is talking about Webber's passing skills and admitting that Chris is quite slow which really isn't a surprise.
Yes, he tells that POB is in Nellie's dog house and that it's almost impossible to get out from it. You can feel bitterness in his words when he's talking about POB on black list
Unstoppable, baby!

Re: Andris Biedrins interview (need help translating)
What POB needs to do is have the guts to have a really good day of practice, play hard and mean and then tell Nellie off in front of the whole team. It's exactly the sort of thing an old stupid goat like Nellie is looking for. He doesn't have respect for him and lack of respect I guess is worth a lot more than a load of talent.LF75 wrote:So we can put an end to all the POB bashing that has gone on around here...He's trying hard..He plays well in games...Nellie just hates his guts...So I hate Nellie's guts...POB has big-time upside.
Jim Barnett and LF see it and can't believe it..This kid should be on the floor playing for our warriors.

Something tells me there is someone in that POB draft that Nellie really wanted... and he got stuck with POB instead.
A coach acting this way is horrible... POB could at least have been a trade chip until this dummy decided to just ruin the poor kid...
Listen to any POB interview... you get the feeling you shouldnt leave him in his hotel room alone. Good luck to POB wherever he goes next year..
When POB does return against us, I hope he takes it easy on us...
