Philadelphia's moved ahead of us in the 8th spot?? I didn't realize that, but that's what it looks like from what I see on NBA.com. They've got one more win than us, but I thought it was the loss column that determined the seeding.....damn!!

Tied actually.

Philly also has some easy games coming up against Minnesota and New York.

I hope we fair well during the West Coast trip.

A big key could be who can integrate new parts quicker and better between us and New Jersey. New Jersey and Philadelphia have Western road trips shortly after we have ours, so we should could get too down if we slip back a little because we should get a chance to catch up.

I would consider it a major disappointment if we didn't pass Philly again (unless they make a major move). We were more talented team before Bibby. I also happen to think the Nets are garbage but adding Stack, Harris, and Diop certainly make them more formidable than what they are with a less effective Kidd who is sandbagging on D.

We have made the biggest improvement out of any team in the league (yes, bigger than the Lakers because post scoring/versatile big man weren't weaknesses before because of Bynum and Odom). We really have no excuse not to be the seventh seed and should be pushing for sixth. We have to take advantage of a Kobe-less Lakers and a Bibby-less Sacto and we start out the trip 2-0.
