The conference also doesn't appear to be done loading up. Two league sources said the Denver Nuggets are in "full pursuit" of Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest and have discussed sending the Kings Linas Kleiza, Eduardo Najera and a first-round pick. The Nuggets, according to another West source, also have been in talks with the Memphis Grizzlies regarding point guard Kyle Lowry. Denver would likely give up Von Wafer and a draft pick.

Lowry for essentially Von Wafer sounds like a move that won't hurt us and possibly could make us better just simply by giving Carter less grind.

I hope that report is right, we've got to do something I think we are just a few pieces from competing for a championship. Lowry would improve our defense, quickness and penetration from the point and if we could get Artest, I think we could compete for a real high seed. Just don't give up Nene. We would have defensive specialists like Artest, Camby,Martin, Lowry and Diawara to throw at any offensive weapon and offensive weapons like Melo, Iverson, JR, Artest. We may be a little weak at shooting but when Atkins comes back I don't see a whole lot of weaknessess if this occurs.

Obviously no one could trade for LeBron at this point, but he's getting frustrated in Cleveland. Would love it if we could swing a trade for him just in juxtaposition to all the other West trades. Again, not going to happen, but that would be a trump card.

Iverson, Iggy, Willie Green, Sammy D, Josh Smith, Rasheed and Ben Wallace, Larry Hughes Garnett, Francis, Lebron, Melo, K Mart, Wade, Amare, Q Richardson, T Mac, DC, and C Webb

Lowry's 6 feet even, but at least he can do the job. I'd rather have a human being (ok, that's a wide net) backing up Carter than Carter playing 40 mpg. Even the guy who can't tie his shoes. Ok, maybe not that guy.

wafer/kuba for west or wafer/pick for lowery?where do I sign...hell i'll drive wafer or kuba to their respective locations!

on the real I like either trade, both west and lowery would help our bench.kinda leanibg more towards west cause of his size and shooting ability plus he's an ok defender!i'll take any two of the four!
trust me...i know what the hell i'm talking about!

Very nice thread idea 1#Don_IguoDalembert#9

What do u all think it'll take to get us MM and Lowry? I think Najera, Keliza, 1st is a start but one more player is needed....JR, maybe Hunter.

Artest is the flashier addition but he's more of a risk than the memphis guys. Miller and Lowry would have us lookin real good. Start Lowry and AI then bring Miller off the bench, that'd be sweet!!

I like Lowry, but him and AI at the 1 and 2 is way too small. I'd rather have a bigger guard in West.

From the sound of everything it looks like we can't take on Millers contract without unloading Nene's....So that is the hold up right now

The more Risk, The more Reward. This team needs the reward, Artest is the player we need. We will regret not getting him if we had the chance and passed it up. Please go get Ron-Ron!!

Hell I like to gamble but a Ron-Ron trade kills our bench. Who is gonna be our backup big?? We'd have Hunter (that dude even healthy?) JR, Yak and Wafer don't help our post substitution. I guess we could go small with Melo at the 4 to rest Martin and Camby but until Atkins or Nene ( ) get back our starters will play 40 minutes a night.
