The Chicago Bulls are proud to select LeBron James with the 3rd pick. Hopefully he brings us as much success as the last guy to wear #23 for Chicago

With the fifth Pick, the San Antonio Spurs are proud to select Kevin Garnett!

I really hoped, he would fall to me as I really love building around him, coz he will deliver offense- and defensewise!

As leading MVP-candidate in the NBA, he will provide one of the best and most versatile postedefenses in the whole league, being able to guard the other biggs and SF’s and adding an always present shotblocking/shotchanging presents under the basket(1.4SPG/1.4BPG/9.9RPG in limited minutes). Offensewise he is a great postplayer to build around and his unselfishness only makes his soon to be teammates better while he still is one of the most effective players around the league(.551FG/19.9PPG /3.8ASP also in limited minutes).

But, what’s even better than all of that, is his huge heart! Have you ever seen a player, playing with so much passion und hustle like this guy?

I don’t think so and that’s why I’m proud to call KG a Spur!

ARGH, I wanted Paul!

Well, no matter. The Dallas Mavericks select a cornerstone big man around whom both the offense and defense can be built.

Thanks nsballer for picking for me. Just a follow up to why I chose Dirk.

Was really deciding between him and Wade, but in the last competition I had the same pick and had the same decision and though I had success with Wade going to the Western Conference Finals, I decided to try something new meaning going with Dirk.

He's the reigning NBA MVP and really gets hated far too much for having that bad playoff series last season. Many people forget Dirk was an absolute monster the previous year before in their run to the finals. In the 23 total playoff games he played, he had 14 double doubles, 16 games of over 25 points including a 50 point game against the Suns and a 37 and 15 game against the Spurs in Game 7. That's as tough as it gets for any player.

He's not a traditional low post player as he's specifically a perimeter player but in the past couple of seasons he's learned how to use his size more and doesn't settle as often. The fact that he's improved tremendously on the defensive end also causes him not to be a defensive liability as he was in the past. Dallas has been one of the top ranked defensive teams in the NBA.

I'm real happy to get him and get a different challenge instead of picking Wade again.
