NETS MAKING PLAYOFFS?

Post#1 » by SteveNets15 » Tue Feb 19, 2008 5:09 am

Devin Harris is gonna be big for the nets.If you give Harris all the wide open shots Kidd had you know he's gonna knock those down playing off VC and RJ. Kidd is better but i like this trade for the nets now and for the future. I like are front court to we gotta big now with Diop and were athletic with Boone, Williams and Swift.

I mean, I'm a biased opinion but I'd say yes. I just hope we can somehow not have to play Det or Bos, but that would be hard.

Anything is possible in the East, but don't expect them to exit the first round.

is that even a good thing? they'd have a pretty horrible record for playoff team and not even have a lottery pick.

I don't believe the Nets will win a lot without J-kidd

I just want to see what Sean Williams does in the next few years. If this kid blows up, he'll be a true attraction for LeBron. I've never really been high on Krstic.

yeah that just tells you how bad the nets are. Without kidd, it will be worse.

if harris can play, they can still make it to the east playoffs.
its the mavs chemistry im kind of worried about. they are putting into a pg into their system the courst general, they will have some time to adjust.

:o You're confident in Harris' shooting? If it was "make a layup" then MAYBE. But his shot? He can make em, just not consistently.

That was years ago.
Devin Harris has dramatically improved his jumpshot.
He even makes 3 pointers now.

SRSLY? YA!

Jump shots.

Last year his main repertoire is dunking and driving for a layup.
This year, he has taken a lot more jump shots and 3s from what I see.

That's the truth.

06-07 39.6% eFG% on jumpers, which constituted 49% of his shots.
07-08 45.3% eFG% on jumpers, which constituted 52% of his shots.

they'll get the 8th seed..but if they want the 6th or 7th will depend on Carter IMO..if he comes out with determination and takes a bigger load because the best player on the team is gone, than they could get the 6th or 7th seed, considering they started playing better for a little stretch..but there is a chance Carter might start caring even less, where they won't even get the 8th seed..

um why would they give him the same shots they gave kidd? Harris doesn't come close to kidd's passing ability.
