Please enlighten me with what Mike Miller gives us that we don't already have??? He doesn't have what we need at the 2 guard spot. Why does everyone keep talking about getting Miller!! If we were to get any Miller it should be Andre Miller

  . . .we don't need any more 3-pt shooters

Chril Wilcox FOR Carlos Arroyo & Keith Bogans. It has been put to the test and everything falls into place for a good to go.

Bogans, Garrity and our 2009 1st rounder for Wilcox. Sounds good to me.

Bogans, Garrity, Arroyo and our 2009 1st rounder for Wilcox and West would be even better.

I would rather keep trade Bogans, which would allow JJ to get into the rotation.

I think their main goal is to stock pile 1st round picks and get cap space. They would gain that with Arroyo and Garrity coming off the books, plus the Magic's 2009 1st round pick. Bogans would just make the trade work. He isn't a horrible player, but he isn't a starter either. A career journeyman. He would give them a good veteran backup for cheap.

yeah but with tradeing arroyo that leaves us with dooling and nelson who are both injury prone. id give um bogans and a late first plus garrity.

We would get West also.

West/Wilcox for Garrity, Arroyo, Bogans and our 2009 1st rounder.

Kurt Thomas is averaging 8.9rpg in 25.5 minutes. Thats insane. We could use that.

Wilcox would be good too. 7.3rpg in 27 minutes. Good enough to go along with his more explosive scoring.

Kurt however is an excellent jumpshot and a much better defender and even a better shotblocker (1bpg in 25 minutes).

Like I said I would love either one, but, looking at the playoffs ahead Kurt Thomas is a smarter basketball player, fantastic rebounder, solid jumpshot and a more than decent post defender. He won't complain about starting either, we would have a legit backup Center.

Thomas might suit their purposes for this season's playoff run, but wouldn't it be better if they could get someone who could help the Magic for the long term? I mean, you're going to trade expirings for an expiring?

He is a very capable rebounder. That's one key for defense.

Any comments on his team defense from a West Coaster?
