OT: KISSFM 103.7 voting through Monday Mar 17th, 5pm

Post#1 » by upnorthfan » Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:25 pm

EDIT: As many of you wanted to be reminded, the voting is now taking place through Monday March 17, 5pm. Please go to www.1037kissfm.com and vote for Aimee Miller (song) Another Day Lost. It's a quick register, name, email and create a pass word, that's it! Thank you all, I will let you know Monday night how it all went. It is now in the hands of (you) the voters.

================
KissFM out of Chicago(?) has put on a music/song writting contest. My daughter Aimee has entered one of her songs and she made the final twenty. Now they start elminating artist by playing two songs each show and have people vote which song/artist should move on to the next round.

Please check it out and if you feel her song should move on, please vote for her. To check out her song in advance go to...

www.theirmusic.com/alm "Another Day Lost".

She graduates in May from college with a music major and aspires to become a full time entertainer/recording artist. Winner gets a thousand bucks and more importantly they will play her song for a year as well. Good stuff!

Let's take a break from our nightmare season and help out a fellow Bucks fan and his daughter.

Whew! Almost 1900 votes registered in one hour, and Aimee moves on to the next round. Thanks everyone for your help. She now is in the top ten (several hundred entered).

I will update when her next contest is. Thanks again guys. Aimee and me really appreciate it.

Aimee's got a wealth of talent. Great voice and (if that is her playing the guitar on Another Day Lost) can really play the acoustic guitar. Reminds me of Collbie Collait except with a little more range in her voice.

I just listened to this song. Your daughter has a really nice singing voice.

I was not around to vote for her in this unfortunately, but if you give us a more advanced notice for the next round I almost certainly will be able to make sure I can vote for her. And I can get a number of other people to vote for her as well. I'm always up for doing a favor for a fellow Bucks fan.

Very cool guys, and thanks for the compliments. She is serious about trying to make it in the music industry. This is toughter than sports because the competition is emmense. A break is all she needs. She will be a starving musician (with college degree in hand) in May.

I will definitely let you all know when the next round is, thanks in advance for your support.

For a "love song" for the ages please check out a song daughter 1 wrote, and daughter number 2 (Aimee) is singing. I think has potetial to climb the charts (with a better recording). Check out...

Well fella's, here we are again. Some of you wanted to be reminded when the next voting is, and it is tonight. So if you wouldn't mind and you wanna help out, please throw some support ole UNF's way.

How the voting works tonight is you can vote as often as you want from 9pm to 10 pm. Fortunately after this round the finals will be one vote per person, which is the right way IMHO. But tonight vote a few times and hopefully she'll move to the finals.

Artisit: Aimee Miller
Song: Another Day Lost

Anyways, enjoy, and here is a preview of the song she will be singing tonight. Thanks.

Check out the rest of her music, on cdbaby she is playing the piano.

Cool stuff :)

Hey, you were supposed to give me more advanced notice for the next round of voting so I could round up a number of people to vote for her and make sure I didn't schedule anything during the voting period so I could participate myself.
Telling us the morning of the vote isn't what I would call "advanced notice"

I definitely won't have time today to round up a large number of voters for you because I didn't leave myself much free time on my schedule for today. Depending on how long my evening plans last, I don't even know if I'll be around.

Hopefully she can make it through.
If she does, you should really let me know about the details for the next round of voting at least 2 days prior. I can get dozens of people to vote for your daughter by placing some phone calls and sending some emails.

Thanks GAD. I didn't know the schedule until late afternoon yesterday, nor did she. Plus, I do feel somewhat self conscience asking everyone to do this. I only do it because it is for my kid. I wouldn't be doing it if it were for me.

Thanks again everyone, gotta go to work. I will bump this just prior to 9pm tonight :)
