Why Do we need mike miller?
ask ur self that question

we have

antony parker
kappano
delfino
moon

we can get all the intagibles that mike miller does plus more out of these guys and im sure all their contracts together isnt much more than miller

we need to focus on gettin a player who can score with his back to the basket

since bosh and andrea like shooting jumpshots

The thing is that Mike Miller = Kapono + Delfino, ESPECIALLY since Kapono isn't even shooting threes for us. If you can get one player who does the same thing two other players do combined for you, you can maximize production. Parker, Miller, and Moon is a fairly solid rotation. If we can use the other guys to upgrade elsewhere, we'd be in a great position.

We wouldn't trade Bosh for Eddy Curry and Reggie Evans just because Curry could give us an efficient option in the post, and because Evans could give us better rebounding numbers than Bosh.

Mike Miller can rebound as good as Moon/Delfino, while shooting like Kapono and being a better second option than anyone we have. He's also a better defender than Kapono. He's just an easy guy to keep on the floor in all situations.

well, now we can all rest assured that this is the case since you've weighed in with your deeply insightful and obviously well informed opinion on this matter.

Have you ever seen Mike Miller play ???

He can do more tha n just shoot 3's.

He can also get to the bucket. Not like Cory Meggette, but he can create his own shot. He's basically a Kapono/Delfino in one body.

When I look at rumors like this, I'm reminded of one mistake BC made. Not a big one but still could be a factor when we are going after players that we could get at bargain price in trade market because teams are trying to dump salaries. Exercising team option on Joey Graham.

If not for that, he could be a bigger factor in trade market as an expiring. Him, Dixon and Delfino would have a chance to fetch something from a team like Memphis who gave away Gasol just because Kwame Brown's contract was the biggest expiring they could get.

All 3 would be expiring and I didn't check numbers but I would think 3 of them combined would come close to Miller's salary that we wouldn't need to add much else. Miller would give us more than 3 of them combined. Delfino might give us a better D but his shot and his shot selection negates much of that and from what I can see, when the real elites want to dominate, he still can't do anything to contain or make them work hard for what they get as we still had same problems we had before with likes of LeBron and Kobe. We would still have Parker and Moon for D and Miller could actually make those opponents work harder on D.

I'm not opposed to getting Mike Miller for cheap, but since when did he become a good defender or even average?

He's been given some respect ever since playing with team USA. Apparently that motivated him to put some extra effort in. At the very worst, he's better than Kapono on both the boards and the defensive end. Since Kapono isn't shooting threes for us, Mike Miller would obviously have a much bigger impact than Kapono.

Agreed, Miller can create his own, and he is also a high volume rebounder for his position. Acquiring him would allow us to trim our rotation and improve rebounding, and make up for the black hole that it is Moon's offensive decisions. Once again, miller can crash the glass..... Dude has pulled down 10+ rebounds 10 times this season.

And he's the same age as Moon, which is important to mention, I think.
