Thank You Jason Kidd
I haven't seen one of these yet, so I think this should be stickied.
Thank you Jason Kidd for all you have done for this franchise. You made basketball relovant in the swamps of NJ. I remember going to games in the pre-Kidd era with Marbury, etc. and boy was it a mess. Once Kidd came, everything changed. He made us into one of the best teams in the NBA leading us to the playoffs ever since he came, not many teams can say that. We got spoiled by the success we had and now when times get rough we are upset. It was time for Jason to go, but we shall not forget the difference he made here. I can not wait till we play Dallas next year to give him a standing O and I can not wait to see #5 hanging in the Barclay Rafters.
Thank you Jason.

Jason Kidd epitomized the modern era warrior. He played with more guts and heart then any player I have ever seen on the Nets. He changed the changed way we all watched the Nets and most of all he changed the franchise. Like all good things, his time as a Net came to end, but even so he still managed to help the franchise by helping acquire the pieces that will be needed to compete at a high level in the near future.
Good luck in Dallas. I, along with many others, will be rooting for the Mavs this spring.

...go back to whoever you want in Nets history, Dr J included...Kidd is the best player ever to wear a Nets uniform...
The Kidd era will always be remembered as the most competitive years of the New Jersey Nets franchise...with back to back appearances in the NBA Finals 01-02 & 02-03...Kidd put his stamp on the NBA playoffs as well as bringing the Nets two Eastern Conference Championships...
By far one the greatest basketball player I have ever watched on nightly basis...1st ballot Hall of Famer...and Mr. Triple Double...
Thank you for the blood sweat and tears...and always leaving it all out on the court...a true warrior and the best pg in the NBA...
I hope you win title...you deserve it...

Thank you Jason Kidd for all that you have done for the Nets. I wasnt a huge basketball fan before Kidd came to the Nets but since he got here i havent missed many games. I had half season tickets the year that they made it to the finals against the spurs and Ill never forget watching him play live. Its been a pleasure to watch him play and i hope he gets his ring in Dallas. Its been fun to watch and best wishes to him moving forward. One of the greatest point guards of all time.
He turned this franchise around 360 degrees.

It's funny but I was a big Jason Kidd fan during his NCAA Career.
It was the Fab Five in Michigan & Kidd that got me excited about the NCAA during that time but because he was drafted in the West and there wasn't the type of full access coverage back then you get now online I lost interest in him.
Following Vince I've got to see Kidd practically every game the last few seasons and for the most part basketball wise it's been quite a pleasure to see someone who hustles and competes so hard and just has the best passing instincts I have seen since watching the Magic & the Showtime Lakers.
I know he did the Nets organization proud & I understand the reverence given to him by Nets fans.
