When did the mets get JOSH BECKETT? Sorry but santana isnt the best pitcher in baseball. I woudl take sabathia over him as well. Go look at santana's decline the past year and half. You will see this year though.

we'll see. We are the favorites of winning the NL this year no doubt.

also, I know a lot of people will bring up the melt-down at the end of the season, but that melt-down was nothing compared to the Yanks blowing a 3-0 lead against the Sox. I loved watching that series

I agree there probably the best team if not the 2nd best team in the nl.

But thats what paying huge money like that SHOULD DO FOR YOU.

Since Kings is done for season, I think it is good idea to ship out all the remaining assets...

But Garcia is a good player that the Kings should keep....since he is young too.

You only get points if you know what ICMTM stands for :) (He's new...I can haze). Just make sure you don't cross over into backseat modding

Now back to the topic...I think we have to let a young go to make it worth ORL's while to absorb Miller's fat deal and not take any salary back. If Miller doesn't work out ORL loses ALL flexibility to make another move for like 2 years plus they will be paying tax. To minimize the gamble we have to give them a young player, but I think we take back a 1st (who ORL probably doesn't want to sign).

If you're looking at this deal player for player then it's not pretty for Sacramento, but it's a clear sign the Kings are trying to DUMP BRAD MILLER'S SALARY. I had to put that in caps so mitchwebber knows where we stand ;)

If we have to give up Garcia to make a deal work, I say "adios, Cisco". Rebuilding is not pretty and you need to make some sacrifices. Cisco is not worth holding up a deal over.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

i agree if a young goes douby is expendable i agree with smills cisco stays unless they will take k9

honestly i hope this deal goes down soon (tonight ) because petrie needs time to work his magic in dealing artest if he chooses,t.lue and maybe k9,reef & m.moore if we decide to trade miller or artest we need to go in complete youth and trade our older vets (miller, thomas, reef,& moore) !

Orlando is currently beating the Pistons by 20 points...

in the 4th quarter...

ON the road.

I wonder if this deal will still go through?

i think orlando winning or losing will have no affect as to if a deal gets done or not !
orlando needs a big to compliment howard !

We are 3rd in the East and just pasted Detroit by 20. We want another big, but clearly we do not NEED one. This looks like it will end in a stalemate. Orlando wants some compensation for taking Miller's contract. Orlando has no interest in Douby. Orlando will not take back Kenny Thomas. I think the Magic would do expirings along with JJ and rights to Fran or a 1st. I think the question will be if Sacto will do that deal.

If Orlando truly wants to compete against the likes of the Celtics and the top teams of the West, they're going to need something else. The question is, is Brad that something else and is he worth shelling out all that dough for? And if Orlando were to do this, there's no turning back for a couple of years. If I were Orlando, that's a really, really, tough question to answer.
