yeah, since then you got rid of your best perimeter defender and added a guy who is exposed to pick and roll and late game hacks. & we have added a pick and roll weapon and have the best finisher in the game.

Thank you Steve Kerr... I like you more every day. Cheers!

Our opp. 3pt % is still 4th best in the league...@ 33%

We're fixing a much bigger hole..rebounding and someone who can pick up Amare's fouls so he can go crazy on the opposing team

Shaq is not as good of a rebounder as you might think. Even when he was with the Lakers. 2 things that he could have been better at during his career was rebounding and defense.

Plus, you are going to need a bigger sample size of the games minus Marion before you make such claims.

They actually gave up a better rebounder than the one they got in return

And they're talking about improving in rebounding?

The one thing Shaq does consistently is take up space. He's like that big fat goalie in hockey who is almost as wide as the entire net. That's Shaq. Except he's almost as wide as the paint, and rounder than the restricted area under the hoop.

I agree about Pau's effectiveness on the pick n roll. He has been able to get a lot of bigs into foul trouble since he joined the team. However, I think the refs will buy into the whole "Shaq Debut" hoopla and go easy on him. But in the playoffs, after the dust has settled, I can't imagine him playing more than 25 minutes because of foul trouble.

I think the Suns can be deadly. Think about it guys.. they have Shaq and Amare. who do we have? Gasol and Lamar? Not to mention we are playing a ROAD GAME. This game is not gonna be a cakewalk..

I will reserve my cockiness until after we beat them. I will stay quiet for now...

Bleh...the pressure's on them. They've had plenty of rest, they are relatively healthy, they are at home, Shaq's debut. They are supposed to win this game. We are without Bynum, and Kobe is playing injured, our 10th road game in the last 11 games. I still expect us to win though. Shaq's size is irrelevant if he's cherry picking on the other side.

stats wise that has always, and i mean since before the millenium, for a guy like that, he shoulda been a rebounding monster, never has been, never was before...

whenever i hear that "mde" stuff, i always think back to his relatively weak rebounding....

dont get me wrong, annoying poster who will now show some stats, he wasnt bad...but for his size and skillset, disappointing...
