In Bogut's best month as a pro he didn't average 17/10...

I don't see how that has 'pretty much been his average in recent times'.

Fair point, my bad on the wording. My point was he's been close to that for the last six weeks or so although has been dipping recently, but IF he continues to improve and can post close to those numbers for the first part of next season he'll be highly sort after and will be offered a lot of money. I don't think it's a stretch to say a talented fourth year center improving to those numbers would be offered close to the max. Bogut knows that, as we all do.

ETA - Just for the record his numbers in 2008 (23 games) -

15.7ppg
9.2rpg
2.9apg
1.6bpg

Even with his recent dip and playing with the hip injury his numbers this year aren't THAT far away from the 17/10 I was talking about.

Al Jefferson received a 5 year, $65 million dollar at the beginning of this season. Al had a better year last year than Andrew, and has a better outlook for the future.

Judging by Jefferson's deal, the highest I would hope we resign him for is $6 years/$60 million. Anything above that and we could have the Michael Redd situation all over again with Bogut in 3 years.

It happened because he's a good player. And he isn't even going to make $10 million in the most expensive year of his contract.

$7,750,000 $8,353,000 $8,860,000 $9,300,000 $8,500,000 $8,500,000

That's his salary breakdown by year. The fifth year is an early termination and the sixth year is a player option.

Mo's deal averages 8.6 million and never hits 10.

Not sure where that was coming from.

I think it's a tradition on this forum to round up by at least 2 or 3 on every single number presented.

I don't know where else to put this, and I didn't want to bump a few week old Randolph thread, but remembered you guys were talking about Z-Bo here so...

I read on the Raps board that Randolph got into a little fight tonight with Nate Robinson and Quentin Richardson, apparently Zach even threw gatorade at Nate.

At least our players do it behind closed doors. :D
