Houston?

Can't believe you took the Houston Crappy Rockets over New Orleans, San Antopnio,Dallas, Phoenix,Denver, G-State, Portland etc..

You do know that the Rockets are only 4 games back from 1st place.

Portland better than us?! they're falling down the standings

I swear people act like the rockets still have a losing record  :nonono:

All the top 9 team in WC have a chance to miss the playoff all together. They all have a chance to make the WCF as well.

They are all pretty damn good IMO. There is no need to diss any of them, ESPECIALLY by EC fans.

Sure he hasn't advanced out of the 1st round, but don't make foolish remarks. Do yourself a favor and go look at T-mac's playoff statistics. One thing all great players generally have in common is that their numbers rise when playoff time comes around. I am in NO WAY saying T-mac is great because I don't even think he can be tossed into the discussion until he at least escapes the 1st round, but his playoff stats are sick.

And what are you talking about getting shut down by Keith Bogans? T-mac has only played 18 minutes against Orlando this season. He played injured, and had to leave the game because the injury was so aggravating. So, what in the hell are you referring to?

Haha yes, that and the combination that they have one of the least "history" out of all the teams in the league (ie, new and no success), combined with the fact that they play for the most hated Canadian city... probably gets into heads of many 15 year old Raptor fans.

Looks like Rockets roster depth has been really underrated (in the summer overrated by people who predicted rockets will win the championship) in the last months, sure they did not start playing like they know until now, but we have a real good bench compared to other teams.

Rockets have really started to gel, but if they want to go deep into the playoffs, McGrady is going to have to start playing like a star. He can be passive now, but in the playoffs it's not going to work.

The Rockets have gone under the radar, but still think they will get beat in the first round. I just can't see this team advancing with the way McGrady is playing.

Actually, T-Mac has ALWAYS delivered in the playoffs. It's just that his teammates haven't. That they are winning right now while he is going through a personal slump is a great thing for them -- if they can keep up this level of play and T-Mac starts to play like T-Mac, I certainly like their chances in the first round against any opponent.

mcgrady always had **** teams with him in the playoffs, this is the first time he will have a competitive team and a good coach, give him a break, his FIRST and ONLY failure was last year vs the jazz, but then again, his regular season was EXCELLENT without yao he carried the team to 52 wins.

^I think you are forgetting the Orlando series against Detroit.

Just wondering... what's your opinion of Kobe Bryant?

Against Detroit, Magic was the underdog, Detroit were (1 or 2?). So losing to them was expected. To be up 3-1 was a great accomplishment, T-Mac always seem to be unable to get that last win and can't really fault him for that because his team sucks and was the underdog (beside last year).

obviously, and as a lot of people say, tmac lacks the killer instinct that kobe or lebron have, but u can't have it all in life, tmac got the talent anyway.

I think it's going to come down to Utah vs LA or SA. I'm not being a homer, we've just been the best team since Dec 31st, and well I think it'll carry over for the rest of the season. Only teams that honestly worry me are LA, maybe Boston, and SA.
