Trade with Chicago

Post#1 » by DH34Phan » Wed Feb 20, 2008 7:24 pm

Milwaukee trades:
Michael Redd
Charlie Villanueva
Michael Ruffin

Chicago trades:
Ben Wallace
Ben Gordon
Thabo Sefolosha

Gordon is on the block. We could get him to sign a much better deal than Redd. Thabo gives us a lock down defender at the 3. Wallace gives us another enforcer up front.

NO NO NO.

That trade would leave us with a backcourt that plays less D than the previous one. Ben Wallace is terrible, on the downside of his career. I love Thabo, but thats way too much to give up to make our team worse

How would we be worse? Redd isnt that much better then Gordon, and Thabo is an excellent defender. Wallace is definitly an upgrade at the backup 4/5 defense. That being said I wouldnt do it because I dont want to sign Gordon to a big contract and have to pay Wallace.

take ben wallace out of it and add a tyrus thomas and i'd do it. we don't want wallace's contract. it's a nasty one.

If you took out Wallace and put in Thomas you'd have to seriously alter the deal otherwise...the reason Wallace is in there to match Redd's contract more or less.
