Rasheed Wallace? Was a Bum in Portland, led Detroit to a 'Ship?
Rasheed was good since he came into the league with Washington. His problems come from his bad attitude on the court and in the locker room.
He might be the biggest waste of talent I have ever seen. This guy can defend, score down low, from the perimeter, good passer, slasher etc...
His head messed up what could've been a dominating career in this league.

I think for a center and at 25years old 34million may not be that big. The guy before this year, was showing strides that he maybe a player but under thomas i think he has lots his passion along with all knicks.
Last Years- 19.5 pts ,7.0 rbs, 57% FG
05-06 - 13.5 ,6.0 56%
04-05 16.5 ,5.0 53%

This trading deadline reminds me of the year we had Zo's Injured Player Exception and there LOTS of rumors and we ended up with Cedric Ceballos. Do not be surprised if the best deal we get by tomorrow is Smush Parker + Cash to a team under the cap for a future 2nd round pick.

Well my sources tell me that "Marion loves to play ball with Smush"

Smush Parker's agent said the Heat appears willing to buy out Parker's contract if it can't deal him by Thursday.

HAHA...
I also don't think we'll get anything better than the Smush deal...
Now if we trade for Lowry, would that mean that we would go big in the draft?
Just say no to Hibbert...

IF (and this is very questionable right now with his particular injury) Brand gets back to level that he's prone to playing at...Donald Sterling, (Clips Owner) is going to through every last penny that he can at Brand en route towards keeping him.
Brand wanted here before though, and when he signed offer sheet, he even said to something to the effect of "I made a commitment to Riley and the Heat organization and I'd like go through on it"
So we'll see how that is down the road..
Summer of 09 looks to be a interesting one, indeed.
Right now, the focus is on this draft pick though....Number 1 (Beasley) would certainly change things...

Curry is soft but he can score in the paint. I'm wondering if Riley thinks he can mask his poor rebouding by having guys like Wade (good rebounder for SG), Marion (one of the best rebounding SF of all time), Haslem (solid rebounder overall) and potentially Beasley (excellent rebounder on the college level, should translate to the pros). We couldn't mask Curry's poor defense however as that would definately be a problem. I'm not a fan of his overall game so if we don't get Curry, I certainly wouldn't sweat it.

Curry is a poor defender yes, but when he's motivated he's decent as far as that goes and he's also decent as far as rebounding. It all depends on conditioning. He'll never give you blocked shots but Marion helps and so does Haslem as far as that goes.
If it's just for Jason Williams I guess you don't have all that much to lose. Acquiring an above average center for virtually nothing is a win-win proposition and Riley always has motivated his players to be in the best possible shape.
Curry's contract isn't out of proportion and it always helps to have a guy who can pound it inside and make the other team respect you. Two good shooters in Marion and Haslem will help space the floor.

I think the key to curry coming to miami is making sure we rid our selfs of mark blounts contract. If we can move blount then im happy with curry but im not going to take on curry if i have blount making 7 million!!
