I am convinced that our team can go all the way if we can make a move to keep up with what Dallas, LA and Phoenix are doing. Here is my idea:

Milwaukee trades:

Michael Redd
Dan Gadzuric

New Orleans trades:

Julian Wright
Mo Peterson
Hilton Armstrong
Arvidas Macijauskas (expiring)
Melvin Ely
Bobby Jackson

Why for Milwaukee:

1) Wright gives them the versatile, good defender at SF that they desperately need
2) Mo Pete replaces Redd, who needs to be a 2nd banana
3) Get young bigs in Armstrong and Ely
4) Get rid of horrible Gadzuric contract

Why for NO:

1) Redd on one wing and Peja on the other is killer - NBA title, boyz

Milwaukee

Williams/Bell/Jackson
Mo Pete/Bell/Jackson
Mason/Wright/Simmons
Yi/Villanueva/Ely
Bogut/Armstrong/Ely

NO

Paul/Pargo
Redd/Butler
Peja/Butler
West/Gadzuric
Chandler/Gadzuric

I know, you're worried about Gadzuric at PF. I did some research, and a couple of years ago Milwaukee fans were talking about Gadzuric starting at PF next to Bogut. I figure they know what they are talking about.

This team can win it all for NO.

Huh? You're giving up (essentially) Gadzuric for Bobby Jackson, and you're getting 2 years of salary/contract. Jackson is at 22 mil, with 1 year left, while Gadz is at 22 with 3 years left.

I'd trade Jackson for Gadz straight up.

But then you're trading Redd for Armstrong, Ely, Wright, AND Peterson. I've thought since first seeing Armstrong that he's had the potential to be a good backup, especially to someone like Yi and Bogut, much better than Gadz is/could do. Then you've got Wright who would be great off the bench for Mason and Peterson. From what I've read/heard about Wright, his potential is great, so I see no reason why not to 'risk it' with him in the deal. Then Ely, when given the minutes, has shown to be great off the bench, so he would only add to our depth at PF/C. I suppose the only 'downside' is that Peterson is older than Redd, at 31, so he's most likely not going to get any better, but he would be able to keep where he's at for another year or two, have his contract run out and you've got 20 mil more in room. The depth this trade would give us would be well-worth giving up, if not anything to try out this year.

Mo/Bell/Jackson
Peterson/Bell/Mo
Mason/Wright/Simmons
Yi/Villanueva/Ely
Bogut/Armstrong/Ely

We can go 3 deep at every spot. If you give Mo-Pete Michael Redd's minutes a game, I think he'd be able to get up there to 15+ ppg where he's proven to be able to when he's still only the 3rd option (Toronto, 17ppg, 38mpg, Bosh/Ford ahead of him for scoring). I think having Peterson over Redd would give Mo more control of the offense and scoring, but still get Bogut/Yi more shots down low and more control of the offense. Having Redd as our first go-to is what has been killing us. With Peterson as our 3rd option, still getting 15ppg and adding a ton of depth is worth giving up the horrible contract of Gadz and Redd.
